Dealing with Stress
Here are my tips for dealing with stress!
These are some of the tips that I use on a daily basis. I am in IB, so I get stressed a lot with all the deadlines. I try to stay on top of them, but I still get stressed. So this is what I do! Let me know if you use some of these!
Prepare the day before
Learn to say no!
Write everything down
Try getting up earlier so you can have more time to prepare
Wear comfortable clothes
Ask for help if you need it!
Don’t hang out with negative people
Know when you have free time
Know when you have appointments/exams etc
Always have a smile on your face.
Get to school/work early
Always be prepared for the worst
Listen to other people
Have a journal/brain dump
Be surrounded by supportive people
Stretch in the morning
Workout for at least 10 minutes during the day
Spend time with your family
Cook your own food!
Do things that can be done in 2minutes straight away
Listen to calming music like nature sounds
Tell people around you nice things
Learn to take a compliment
Sleep
Write yourself motivation letters
Read a book when you have the chance to
Enjoy that cup of coffee/tea you are drinking
Explore new ways of getting around
Read magazines you have never read before
Cuddly up with several blankets and watch TV
Have a pizza night in with a few friends
Spend time with some animals
Babysit some cute children
Light some candles
Go for a relaxing bath with bath salts and bath bombs
Moisture yourself
Organise your workspace
Know your priorities
You don’t need to know all the answers
