A Court of Mist and Fury
A Court of Mist and Fury (A Court of Thorns and Roses #2)
Blurb:
Feyre survived Amarantha's clutches to return to the Spring Court—but at a steep cost. Though she now has the powers of the High Fae, her heart remains human, and it can't forget the terrible deeds she performed to save Tamlin's people. Nor has Feyre forgotten her bargain with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court. As Feyre navigates its dark web of politics, passion, and dazzling power, a greater evil looms—and she might be key to stopping it. But only if she can harness her harrowing gifts, heal her fractured soul, and decide how she wishes to shape her future—and the future of a world cleaved in two. With more than a million copies sold of her beloved Throne of Glass series, Sarah J. Maas's masterful storytelling brings this second book in her seductive and action-packed series to new heights.

My Review:
For starters, let me just say that this book was SO much better than the last! Especially the world building and character development! I fell in love with this book a lot faster and deeper than the previous book!
I loved how Feyre grew as the book went on. At the start of the book she seemed a changed person (not surprised after the ending of the last book) due to what Tamlin was doing to her. However, after she left and was left to her own devices, she became a strong woman and grew from her struggles. This was on the of best character developments in the book (along with Rhysand). As cliché as this sounds, but I am really happy Feyre got away from Tamlin because she finally got to be herself. She didn’t have had her family to protect or prove to Tamlin that she was strong enough, she just had to be herself to be loved and seen as a strong woman. I think this was an amazing “theme” that young readers should take into account.
I loved Rhysand in this book because he let Feyre be who she was and was there to support her only when she needed him or someone to talk to. Their relationship was one of the best features throughout the book in my opinion. I like Rhysand because of how he treats Feyre, but also because his personality and the letters (LOL) were also amazing!
Another one of my favourite aspects about this book was that the world development was amazing! I’m sorry but walking into Velaris would be an absolute dream to me. The description of the mountains and the stars had me wanting more.
Lastly, the twist ending was amazing and evil at the same time! I LOVED IT! I have to say, I usually find out what the ending is before I actually reach the end, but I didn’t see this coming. I also can’t believe that I had to wait months before the next book comes out! (A court of wings and ruin – May 2nd 2017)
