Resources for IB Design Technology
So I think this is the start of a new summer sort of series? I will post some resources for each of the subjects used while I was doing IB. Please be warned that I am not a robot and that I only did 6 IB subjects, meaning I won't have resources for every subject. On the other hand, I will ask friends to send me their resources they used so I could share them with you.
So I will start this off by talking about Design Technology. Like all IB subjects, you have to do an IA (Internal Assessment) and I will do another blog post about that later on!
There are 6 topics for SL (Standard Level) and an extra 4 HL (Higher level) topics. So instead of my repeating exactly what's already been said, here is a link to the official IB page and what is in the syllabus.

So what if your teacher is just meh? and doesn't teach you very well. So here is the best website I have found and I and the DT class of 2017 swear by it!

I know you might be like "but.. my teacher is good and I don't need extra resources" Well, that's what we thought at the start of the year. Until we actually got the gist of what our teacher was trying to tell us and it was all wrong! So if your teacher actually is great, then there is no harm at looking at these extra resources. The more information the better.
So based on this website we taught ourselves. We had group chats, group debates and we spoke about everything related to DT and got through it all.

So you may have noticed that I don't have notes for everything. We as a class did find notes on the rest of the topics, but I can't link them here just yet so I will update it later on.
Anywho, there are the extra resource notes and I hope they are useful. I am actually currently studying for Paper 3 so I will post even more notes sometime after the exam tomorrow!
