CESK Super Saturday
Hello everyone! I've spent a few days thinking about this but I've decided to write about fairs I've attented with my mum (JJ's Hook Nook). They are going to be short and sweet because I just want to let everyone know about them, what went well and what happened while we were there. These posts are going to be in correlation with my Qatar Travel page as well, so other fair posts will be in there.
CESK Super Saturday was held at CESK pre-school on the 18th November. Crafters had to be there by 9am to set up their tables but it didn't offically start till 10am! So you can imagine that a lot of us were awake around 7am getting ready for this event.
While we were there, they provided lots of activities for the children. There were lots of different games for the children, so no one was bored while they were there. There was also a puppet show along with some face painting. Apart from activities for the children, there was also a "pre-loved" area and a mini market. I was in the mini craft market with my mum. The pre-loved area was full of second hand stuff. If you were looking for a book, it was probably there! There was also a lot of children's toys there that were in pristine condition. Basically what I'm saying is that there had to be something for everyone.
Now, a lot of you might know but I am one of the admins from the Qatar Handmade Corner Facebook Group. I also happen to run our very inactive Instagram account. (I'm hoping to change that after the weekend) So when Louise (She runs CESK) said she needed crafters for the mini market you can imagine that nearly half of our members jumped at the chance to get a table. We basically managed to fill two villas full of crafters and their handmade items. I sadly didn't get to see everyone but it was nice putting faces to their wonderful crafts to those I did see. Making friends with your group members is actually something I never thought I would be doing.
Seeing everyone's crafts in person was amazing and meeting the crafter behind it was a whole new experience. Okay, enough of me and my rambles. I managed to take some photos while I was there and I'm also using some photos that were taken by other people.
(Photo's that aren't mine have been taken from the CESK pre-school Instagram... If you own any of these photos and would like me to remove them then let me know. Thank you)

In case you didn't know, all the proceeds from the day went to Beaumond House Hospice.
When 1pm hit, everyone started to leave and finish off the rest of their weekend! Crafters started packing up and hopefully left feeling satisfied.
I think we can all agree that the worst thing about doing craft fairs is the packing up and having to carry everything back to your car! Apart from that CESK Super Saturday was wonderful and hopefully there will be more in the future! Thank you Lousie and the CESK team for holding the event.
